Arts Angels Minutes - Meeting 2/3/06

Meeting called to order at 1:40p.

Motion made to give Carla Bowman Smith a $250 gift card from Babies R Us.
Motion seconded and approved.

Warren Malfer, the substitute teacher temporarily replacing Carla Bowman
Smith, introduced himself. His email address is warren@malfer.com

Carla Bowman Smith suggested that we hang last year's huge photo quilt on a
large bare wall at District headquarters. The family who bought it at last
year's auction has no space for it. It was agreed to loan the quilt to the
District, as long as it was clear that it was just a loan.

The Shark Fund wants our budgets. We will not receive any funding till they
are submitted.

The sound system can be fixed for $1,000. It will be ready before the
spring musical.

We need more mikes and cables.

The Arts Angels meeting minutes will be posted on the Malibu High website,
in the Arts section.

Sheila will send a reminder to all teachers who want to be included in the
next PTSA mailer.

Sheila had a meeting with Dr. Kelly - for the moment no group is supposed to
do individual fundraising.

Jodi is looking for a hotel to sponsor the set building crew, who have to
drive from Anaheim to put up the sets. They need two rooms. Sheila will
look into this.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:10p. The next meeting is March 3.
