Summer School

Students are encouraged to attend summer school for enrichment.  Required courses for graduation should be taken at MHS during the regular school year.  Counselor approval is required for all summer school course work.  High school students who need to make up course credit will be advised to attend summer school at Malibu High or Santa Monica High.

Santa Monica College Summer 2008 Institute for High School Students

The SMC Summer Institute for High School Students, now in its tenth year offers summer SMC classes to high school students. These classes are offered free of the per unit charges to eligible high school students. Students are loaned textbooks at no charge while they are participating in the program. Students may also be eligible to obtain both college units and high school credit.
